Why Am I Choosing CENT Over LEO?

LEO is the number 1 front-end platform on Hive when it comes to finance and crypto-related content. CENT on the other hand has few holders that I know. Why then choose CENT over LEO?

The first reason is simply numbers. As I compute and compare the yield of the two, I see more potential for CENT. Yes, the project is young, and not much is known about its issuer. All I know is that the issuer is building his HIVE power, and that is a way to show that he is committed to Hive.

Since CENT is a project built on Hive, the long-term prospect of the former is dependent on Hive as its base or as they say layer 1.

Another reason I could think of is community support. Content creators and curators on LEO don't have much time to look into the content of newcomers perhaps for valid reasons. They already have their circle of support since they have been on the blockchain for years. Perhaps another one is that they are already too advanced and articles written by newbies are either uninformed or too basic. Commenting on those articles is almost a waste of time.

Considering the above two reasons, if a newcomer invests the same amount of money and time in both tokens, the logical outcome is that money and time spent in CENT is more productive than spending them in LEO. I came up with this conclusion after more or less nine months of doing trial and error to find what works for me.

Simply increasing my stake in LEO and using it as a platform for publishing content will not yield the expected results for the space is already saturated by big stakers and there is not much community support.

On Hive, I see that each token such as LEO, CTP, SME, and SPT has its specific community and big stakers. I notice that supporters of one token either gives little or no support at all to other tokens. You can see this in their wallets. As the saying goes "follow the money" to identify what token does a specific influencer believes in.

As a roamer on Hive, I prefer to hold three to five tokens. Appearances deceive. What is popular might not be profitable for you. You have to come up with your conviction as to the most profitable token that is appropriate for you. I prefer CENT, CTP, and SPT as my first three. As for LEO, I will just maintain my current holding and let it grow by itself. Whatever rewards I received both from content creation and curation, I will either keep them liquid or grow my stake to a minimum amount that will give a decent yield.
